Insight

With African fighters reshaping the global hierarchy, led by figures like Francis Ngannou, MMA is no longer emerging from the continent quietly. Rwanda stepped directly into that momentum. We focused on two things: transformation and culture.

The venue became part of the story: lighting rigs, the cage, the recalibration of space. Wide frames established scale; tighter shots captured sweat, tension, and the split-second before impact.

Idea & Execution

We focused on emotional storytelling by capturing the crowd reactions, sharp, instinctive, unfiltered carried as much energy as the action inside the cage.

Coverage rolled out in real time through stories and short-form clips, followed by a  highlight reel and curated photography that preserved the night’s intensity without over-polishing it.

The audience was Kigali. Both devoted fight fans and the curious. The content met both where they stood.

Impact

PFL Africa 3 generated an Advertising Value Equivalent of $2.3M, with international media pickup from Rolling Stone and NWE.

More importantly, it expanded Kigali’s sporting profile.

But beyond numbers, something more structural happened.

Kigali added combat sports to its vocabulary of global events. The arena proved it can pivot from music to mixed martial arts without losing scale or polish. Rwanda’s sports identity gained dimension: visible, documented and shareable.
