The world-renowned Friends of Amstel (FOA) franchise returned to Kigali, choosing Zaria Court as its newest premier venue. TORI was commissioned to capture the vibrant atmosphere of this music-driven celebration.
Friends of Amstel is a global brand built on the connection between music, heritage, and friendship. For TORI, the insight was to translate this 20-year-old Dutch tradition into a local context that resonated with Kigali’s youth culture. By focusing on the shared experience of the crowd and the high-production value of the regional talent, our storytelling highlighted the "FOA" experience as a premium cultural milestone that bridges the gap between a global franchise and local identity.
Our strategy centered on capturing the "vibe" of a premium music festival-loud, colorful, and intensely social.
By documenting Friends of Amstel 2025, TORI helped reinforce the venue’s status as a "plug-and-play" destination for global brands.
